Summary Devenir acteur de sa santé en modifiant son alimentation et son hygiène de vie afin de réduire le recours aux soins‚ c’est la démarche imaginée par Patrick Négaret pour améliorer l’état de santé de la population tout en réduisant les dépenses correspondantes. À terme‚ le défi est de passer d’une “assurance maladie” à une “assurance santé”. La démarche Santé Active a été tentée d’abord dans le département de la Sarthe‚ avec toute une variété de dispositifs : forums‚ ateliers‚ espaces d’information en centre ville‚ coaching de groupe ou individuel‚ participation à un club permettant le suivi de la consommation de soins‚ délégués incitant les médecins à réduire leurs prescriptions de médicaments… L’évaluation du dispositif a montré son efficacité et Patrick Négaret est aujourd’hui chargé de le mettre en œuvre au plan national.
