Seminar Management of Innovation | Wednesday November 25, 2015 - 8h45 - 10h45

Cédric Bisson is a doctor‚ lawyer and financier. Having worked for a number of years as an associate principal at McKinsey in Montreal‚ New York and Paris, and then having been in charge of healthcare activities at iNovia Capital‚ he became an associate at Teralys Capital which manages 1.6 billion Canadian dollars of investments in the hi-tech sector and contributes to the construction of a venture capital ecosystem in Quebec. Drawing on his European and North American experience‚ he encourages a ‘hands-on’ approach in the relationship between investors and entrepreneurs. European entrepreneurship and investment culture is not a priori conducive to a ‘hands-on’ approach‚ but the globalisation of technologies and markets, as well as the need to co-invest, encourage the harmonisation and alignment of practices.
