The current rules and regulations of making job appointments and generating work has given rise to a pattern of behaviour within companies which comes close to an atmosphere of domination. However, is it not a matter of the individual submitting voluntarily, given a largely consensual situation, where this domination is accepted by the people involved ? In any case, the end of the Utopia of the 1980s, which regarded the company to be a model for society, marks the return of this concept which was thought to be out-of-date.
