Why do strategists often have the feeling that their projects are misunderstood by those who are supposed to implement them ? This question leads to many others in relation to companies : their structure, their methods of functioning, their ways of adapting to change, how they resist pressure, how they prepare for the future, and how rigid are they in their views. Other questions include how the managerial staff cope with contradictions and how do they manage complex situations. Finally, there are questions about their overall cohesion which, despite the variety of functions which are carried out and the occasional conflicting interests of its staff, are essential for the company’s survival. This talk attempts to explain what is happening in area which are common to various enterprises and the actions which could be taken.
