Caution in business

It is very easy to find examples of smart - or even crafty – businessmen ; it is much more difficult to show what a cautious businessman is like. By rereading Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, one can work out this anachronistic and attractive concept better ; a concept which clarifies the demands of scientific thought and sets the limits for modernity.
