Would there be any point in throwing a bunch of serious, honest bridge players into the throes of professional poker without first preparing them for it? to adapt their internal structures to deregulation in the financial services sector. Swept along by the general euphoria of the boom years, the banks headed straight for disaster. There are several lessons to be learnt from their experience.
