Seminar Guest speakers | Monday January 21, 2013 - 19h - 21h15

This session brings together two worlds, both confronted with uncertainty : the army, plunged into the blur of wars which are unequal in the face of an unpredictable enemy ; and large companies, battling the complexity associated with globalised political, economic, societal and environmental issues, as well as their own complex internal situations. In spite of these different contexts which are equally marked by chaos, a few principles of action can emerge, based on faith in individual initiatives currently in practice, the necessity for shared core values, and a clear vision of the end goal. This talk, presented by an army general and a strategist in transition management, highlights the advantages of such a rapprochement which puts pay to typical stereotypes and misconceptions.
