Michel D'OZENAY

An agricultural engineer and militant entrepreneur, he created the company SENFAS in 1987 to manufacture and distribute exclusively organic products. In 1990, he was behind the creation of the first union of organic processors, Nature & Progrès, and was its president for many years. He worked on the establishment of the Synabio interprofession at national level, of which he was vice-president and administrator for several years, a full member of Labels and Certifications for ten years and an expert on the national commission for organic product import controls. In 2013, he was appointed expert to the Council of Approvals and Controls at the Institut national de l’Origine et de la Qualité (INAO). Because of his commitment to organic farming for more than twenty years, he was nominated Chevalier du Mérite Agricole in 2019.
