In 1987, he took over a moribund make-up company, which has since become the URGO group, with sales of €870 million in 2024. Now retired, he has written a book, Accroche ta charrue à une étoile, in which he shares the methods he put in place during his career that made URGO such a success. He has also taken to Instagram, under the name URGOBOSS, to distil his invaluable advice on management, negotiation and professional advice for a young target audience.
