Gilles van KOTE

A sports journalist and later an environmental journalist, he joined Le Monde in 2000. He served as acting editor-in-chief in 2014–2015 and is now the deputy editor-in-chief responsible for reader relations. He is also the organiser of the International Journalism Festival and chairman of Entre les lignes, an association promoting media and information literacy.
