Claude BÉBÉAR

A former student at the École polytechnique, he spent all his career in the insurance business ; the company Les Mutuelles Unies eventually became the Axa Group of which he was President until 2000. He is currently President of the Axa supervisory board and is Chairman and Managing Director of Finaxa. He is also President and founder (in 1986) of the Institut du mécénat de solidarité (Institute of the patronage of solidarity).
