Vincent SCHÄCHTER

R&D director at Total Gas & New Energies. He joined Total in 2009 and started the group’s R&D activities in biotechnologies. Previously he took part in the creation of Hybrigenics (a biotechnology start-up) ; was the Bio-IT director at the Centre National de Séquençage ; and managed a laboratory at the CEA (Commissariat à l’énergie atomique) which was an interface between mathematics and molecular biology. He is a graduate of the École normale supérieure (Paris) and has a PhD in information technology.
