Chairman and manager, Le Balzac cinema, Paris

Seminar Social life | Thursday February 14, 2002

Le Balzac cinema is not like any other cinema. It not only discovers new artists and follows them for the rest of their careers but its manager also makes a point of personally presenting their films. He develops a very fulfilling and convivial relationship with Le Balzac's numerous and faithful cinema-goers. He tells the story of Le Balzac ; a passionate story fraught with difficulties. A visit to Le Balzac, is a visit to a cinema showing art films whose implicit purpose is to defend cultural diversity by supporting and promoting creative cinema in a family and festive atmosphere. At the same time, it is an occasion to eat excellent cakes, drink good wine and listen to beautiful music.
